“I Do”

I Do

After having spent the weekend at the “Original Wedding Expo” at Twin Rivers in Rhode Island, and speaking to hundreds of brides-to-be, I got to thinking about our YTB travel sites and how much we really have to offer.  The way I like to explain it is “We are Travelocity on steroids”.  Not only do we get a website (mine is Express Travel 4U) that sells all your typical travel ; flights, hotels, rental cars, cruises etc at prices comparable to all the “big names”, but we also get 4 additional websites, our niche sites. We have YTB Golf, YTB Outdoors, YTB Flowers, YTB Cars and what I think is the big one…. YTB Romance.

When you look at the YTB Romance site (mine is Express Romance 4U) it is truly is amazing what we have to offer. Super Inclusive Wedding Packages, Cruises, Romantic destinations to Europe, Jamaica, Golf Resorts & Spas, Rustic Ski Retreats, you name it.  Our YTB Romance sites feature even more than just travel for the bride and groom, we have wedding favors for any theme, bridal party tees, wedding tracker websites and our ever-popular Honeymoon Wishes. When I explained how this works to several brides -to-be they were thrilled with the idea of their guests giving them “pieces” of their honeymoon instead of dishes and toasters. Think Cancun instead of canisters!   Many couples have been together for awhile and already have a home set up, they don’t need things, they would much rather have the honeymoon of their dreams and guests love the idea of giving the honeymoon to the couple. Check out our Honeymoon Wishes, you many know someone getting married who would like this.  I sure wish Honeymoon Wishes had been around 20 years ago! I might have had a different honeymoon than camping in the rain. ;)

Another beautiful mountain and sea areas is Sai Kung, there’s a Seafood Street where you can handpick life seafood, have the restaurant cook them any way you like and enjoy in front of the sea. If you’re into the nature, there’s a beautiful Maclehose Trail that stretches from Sai Kung, in the eastern side of the New Territories all the way to the west. The entire trail takes more than 10 days to walk, you’ve to know where the exits are if you dont plan to finish the whole trail, it’s free to enter and exit, just bring enough water and a mobile, and do not go there at night time, just in case, there may be some illegal immigrants hiding in the bushes. There’re some small but beautiful beaches in Sai Kung, many big and mini buses go there.
